Stanton Community Club/Youth Development are sponsoring a FISH FRY this Friday March 16th from 5-8 PM at the Stanton V.F.W. .
You may ask, how does this involve me? The Stanton V.F.W. has provided its facilities to residents of Stanton; the Stanton Community Schools and many of its activities at some time or another has used the V.F.W. kitchen or meeting rooms for little or no charge over many years.
Fish Fry project – we will provide the Fish Fry on this date, ALL of the proceeds are to be given to the Stanton V.F.W. as our way of saying “THANK YOU” for providing us with an excellent facility for public use for so many years. Our experience tells us from our own FISH FRY the proceeds could be a significant boost for this important facility. With the investment in an industrial fryer to the kitchen recently our club understands the V.F.W. has made the commitment to its facility for the future and this investment will help your programs and our programs for years to come.
You may ask, how can we help? All we really are asking – show up and eat fish.
We are introducing for this fish fry, HOMEMADE ONION RINGS – a fan favorite for many years. Besides fried fish we offer the very popular and perfectly seasoned baked fish, side salads, desserts and drink.
