Another interesting item that will be on the primary ballot on May 15 is a special issue concerning installation of a water slide for the city pool. This issue will only appear on ballots for city voters.
This is what is proposed by the Initiative Petition:
Initiative to direct the City of Stanton to install a donated water slide at the Stanton swimming pool within a two year period of the primary election of 2012.
A vote "FOR" this propose will direct the City of Stanton to install a water slide in the Stanton swimming pool within a two year period of the primary election of 2012.
A vote "AGAINST" this proposal will direct the City of Stanton to not install a water slide in the Stanton swimming pool within a two year period of the primary election of 2012
The Community Club Blog Team has decided to do some research on this issue. We would like to know more about the cost of installation and if there needs to be upgrades to the pool prior to installation
